Li'l Moana and Flounder (D)

New commission undertaking!  Could turn out to be a fun continuing project.
A look at the process.  I like the sketch best, ha.

7 APRIL 2018 UPDATE:

The pins have arrived!  I think they turned out pretty great.

Potters In Winter (D)

We're currently obsessed with The Greatest Showman, but until those inevitable arts come along...

Today we went to this Christmas In the Wizarding World pop-up merchandise attraction at the mall and it was pretty cool. This is a sketch from almost ten years ago that I tidied up, added some textures and shadows and highlights and the snow effect I always wished it had and now it looks like I imagined it when I first drew it. Magic indeed.

Original from my first reading of HPatDH in 2008:

Rush commission this week! It glows.

And here's a glimpse at the old process.  I like a good WIP.

You're Standing on my Sunday Sketches (J)

It's been a while since I've contributed to Sunday Sketches. These are actually the accumulation of a few Sundays, but who's counting right? We've been watching Daria lately and I've seen a few other artists put their own spin on the characters. That sounded like fun to me (and a nice contrast to when I put a Daria spin on myself) so I gave it a try. I think they turned out pretty well!

(From t-b, l-r: Daria, Quinn, Jane, Trent, Brittany and Kevin)

Oh, and here, have a WIP. I have declared 2012 to be the year I finally conquer lineless painting. I will not be afraid! Okay, maybe just a little afraid.
What the hey, I'm afraid. Eep!
