Once in 2016 I did this thing and then it was happening again so I did it again.

Revisiting last summer's Hipster Harry for his special day. This expression and attitude actually reflect my feelings toward JKR these days pretty accurately.

And now I realize I never actually posted my last Hipster Harry painting inspired by attending the Yule Ball last Christmas, so here it is:

Over Christmas I did some paintings based on a few recent entries in my digital sketchbook, so here they are:

I wanted to paint a pretty lady so Italian model it is.

Such a diverse grouping!  It's always fun to see sketches come alive with a little color.

Instagram meme!  I just thought, oh all right then. I tried really hard not to overthink this.

Hipsters Aplenty (D)

Just a quick doodle of a jolly li'l hipster I saw leaving my work building last week. I'm not 100% sure he had glasses (but the drawing looked incomplete without them) and I don't actually remember the stripey socks (but they really seemed just the thing).

And, just for fun and because I've been listening to Christmas music for the last couple days, here's one with a small addition:

They seem to bloom especially in the spring.  They also all seem to wear skinny and way too short pants.
