A Month of Fresh Figure Drawings (D)

Lately I've been participating in a self-imposed #figuredrawingFriday and have really been looking forward to ending each week with some (hopefully) quick gesture drawings from reference.  It's been fun to look up unknowing models and try to find different kinds of people and poses.  Here's the inaugural set:

That just doesn't sound right.  And I guess mermaids do kick...  But oh well.  Apparently #MerMay is a thing (and also #MermaidMonday?), so J and I did a few mermaid Sunday Sketches last week to celebrate.  It was fun!  Here are mine:
